Wakame And Turmeric Dressing

Wakame And Turmeric Dressing

Wakame and turmeric dressing is a delicious treat for alkalising your body.  Nourishing real foods all mixed into a jar ready to ehance the nutritional quota and taste of any savoury dish.  Bland brown rice no longer happens with this dressing stashed in my kitchen. Wakame is a seaweed superfood.  A great source of protein, iron, calcium, sodium and other minerals and vitamins.  Apparently, wakame contains more than ten times the calcium than what is found in milk.  Like kelp, wakame also has four times the iron than beef.  I love turmeric that much I’ve written several posts on turmeric, mainly under the anti-inflammatory health tips section of my blog.

Ingredients

1 handful of wakame

1 tablespoon turmeric, powdered

2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 cups extra virgin olive oil

4 cloves of garlic

1 handful of mixed herbs (mint, coriander, parsley)

sea salt and cracked black pepper

Method

Whizz wakame up in blender to create crumbs.

Crush the garlic cloves if you like.  Sometimes, I pop the cloves in whole to save a job.  Garlic is wonderful for healing your gut, lowering cholesterol, boosting immunity plus so many other amasing health benefits.

Mix all the ingredients up in a jam jar.
