Top 10 Health Tips To Nourish Your Body

Health tips and health goals for this year to start today.  Nourish your body with real foods.  Clarify your health goals and lets get focused with your daily food choices.  Creating optimal wellness can be slightly overwhelming.  As a real food nutritionist, that’s what I’m here for.

My job is to simplify and clarify must-have real foods that your body needs nourishing with.  I love crafting nourishing real foods into deliciously appetising morsels.  I coach awesome people like you to achieve health goals and vitality with real foods.  “Where do I start?”  “What should I be doing to get healthier?”  “How am I going to get all these healthy things done in a day?”   Sound familiar?  I’ve been there myself and it is overwhelming.

My foodie business is all about simplifying nutritious food.  I’ve pulled on my skills as a trained cordon bleu cook, qualified nutritionist, former cafe owner, yoga teacher, naturapath and busy working mother to create bullet proof steps to actually get all this health stuff happening with online nutrition coaching, ebooks and blog.

10 Health Tips To Do Daily

Start your day with an alkalizing glass of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon juice of half a lemon and a few slices of ginger.

Exercise for a minimum of thirty minutes.  Choose whatever flicks your switch.

Chill out with yoga, meditation, positive thinking and deep breathing.

Drink 2 litres of pure water or herbal tea.

Veg every plate up with a double handful of fresh vibrantly colourful veggies, herbs and salads.

Base your diet on wholefoods, anti-inflammatory and alkalizing foods.

Eat wholegrains – brown rice, millet, rye, quinoa or oats.

Pack in the protein – salmon, beans, lentils, quinoa, chicken and occasional red meat.

Choose a few pieces of low fructose fruit every day – berries, apple, grapefruit, orange or pear.

Escalate healthy fats – heaped tablespoon of ground seeds or a tablespoon of cold-pressed seed oil.

What To Remove From Your Diet

Alcohol, smoking, recreational drugs, animal fats and processed foods

Hydrogenated oils

Fried and burnt foods

Instant coffee and excess caffeine

Cordials and soft drinks

White processed table salt and processed pepper.

It can be very hard to remove some of these items from your diet if you have enjoyed them for most of your life.  I work holistically with my clients to assertain what flicks their switch.  The most rewarding clients to work with are those with the most shocking diets.
