Online Business Tools I Use Everyday

Online Business Tools I Use Everyday

Online business tools.  Which ones do I love?  It’s a question I get asked about, so I thought I’d share them with you.

Grammarly

I need this so badly.  In an earlier post about being authentic in my health business, I shared how my whole gig is driven from my enormous passion for natural health.  I also shared my incredible talents at school – straight grade D student except for A’s in needlework, cookery and hockey.  Grammarly really is one of my best friends.  It autocorrects all my grammar and spelling mistakes.  Thank god for Grammarly.

Yoast

SEO?  What the ….?  Yup, I had no idea what that was either.  SEO stands for search engine optimisation.  My website is my shop front and it needs to look as sexy as the hottest chick on the block, in SEO terms, for Google to even give you a second look.  I find Google challenging.  At one point, last year, I delegated the job of optimising my website over to a web developer.  To cut a long story short.  Six months down the track I had nothing!  Like nothing to show for it.  I felt sick to the stomach at how much that debacle cost my business.  So now I have Yoast plugin on my website and I’m blogging with Yoast helping me out with all the SEO stuff.

Google Calendar

Meetings, deadlines, coaching, calls, appointments, school stuff, kids stuff, hubby stuff, my stuff, travel stuff, next year’s stuff, everything stuff.  It all happens in our Google calendar.  By the time we have kicked out a day of all of us trying our hardest, the last thing we need to do is to discuss what’s happening when.  With Google, it’s all in there for my team to see.  All my business stuff get colour codes so only I see it and all our fantastic family stuff is coded to our family.  It’s my busy working mums saviour!

WordPress

I’m no whizz kid at computers or any techno stuff but somehow I have seemed to work my way around WordPress.  I love it and I love helping others set up their blogs with WordPress.

Zoom Meetings

Fantastic for communicating with a group of people from anywhere in the world.  As my health business shifted focus this year.  Zoom has been an integral part of linking up with other like-minded female entrepreneurs.

Mailchimp

An email marketing software (EMS) that gives you a number of easy designing, sending and saving templates of your emails.  Allows you me create e-newsletters and share them on Twitter and Facebook.

Please share your best business tools with us in the comments below.  We’d all love to learn and grow together.
