Brooke Conlan is a Master Trainer Level 1 and Punchfit Coach.  Running a small business in personal training, group fitness and an online clothing business, Women’s Fitter.  As a busy mother of two,  Brooke knows how easy it is to get caught up in the day to day life of raising a family. Brooke develops programs specific to the goals of her clients, whether it be weight loss, increased level of fitness, muscle definition or stress release. Working with people to help reduce or eliminate dependence on medication, rehabilitating an injury or improving a person’s quality of life is something that Brooke gets great satisfaction from.

Brooke personally enjoys living a healthy, clean and active life and her goal is to help others as much as possible avoid living a sedentary life that can lead to disease.

Welcome Brooke!

Tell us about yourself and your fitness business.

Hi! My name is Brooke and I am the owner of Fit Sistar Personal Training. I am a Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor. As well as my PT business, I have a small business in women’s fitness clothing. I am a mother of two rascal kids and we love being an active family living a fun and healthy lifestyle.

Why do you choose to be fit and healthy?

I feel my best when I am being active and fueling my body with the nutritious foods it requires to keep me healthy and energized. It is also important for me to lead by example for my family and my clients. With so many people suffering from preventable diseases these days I want to make sure that I do all that I can to avoid myself or my family becoming this way.

Who are your inspirational superstars who get your butt moving and nutritious inspiration going on your plate?

My kids are my superstars. They are the main reason I want to look after my health and stay active to enjoy life and experience lots of adventures together. I also have some amazing ladies well into their 70’s that come to my classes each week and give it their best – they inspire me and I hope that when I am their age I am that active!

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

A green smoothie, homemade granola or a spinach and avocado omelet.

What would we always find in your fridge?

Homemade protein balls

What are your favorite snacks?

Bliss balls, nuts, and bananas! Oh and I’m quite impartial to a helping of organic dark chocolate too.

What areas of cooking or eating healthy do you love or find challenging?

I love being able to create healthy versions of traditional recipes. We have some food intolerance in our family so sometimes finding alternate recipes can be challenging.

How do you keep fit?

I love to run, I also enjoy strength training twice a week. Obstacle course racing is a passion of mine so I like to train specifically for those upcoming events. I also do yoga with a friend every week, which is very important.

Do you have a motivational quote that you love?

‘Every obstacle is an opportunity to find a better way!’ I use this to remind myself and others that for every brick wall you encounter it doesn’t mean you give up. You find a better way and keep going!

What are your goals for your business?

To build my business to point where I can reach out to as many people as possible and show them the importance of living a healthy active life. I want to empower people (especially mothers) to take charge and reclaim their health and well-being through physical fitness and good nutrition. Changing your life for the better can be mentally very daunting so I want to create a community where people feel supported and motivated to be the best versions of themselves and want to make the change.

Thanks so much for joining us Brooke, it’s so good to have you part of our community.  If you would like to know more about Brooke, click on over:
