Avocado and cacao all blended together giving a smooth and deliciously yummy taste. It’s a great way to enjoy avocado and a quick and easy way to enjoy healthy fats. Cacao is a rich source of essential minerals, including magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, potassium and manganese.
Avocado Cacao Mousse
2 medium Haas avocados
1/3 cup raw cacao
5 fresh dates, pitted and roughly chopped
¼ cup coconut milk or nut milk
1 teaspoon natural vanilla bean essence
Dried coconut, cacao nibs or blueberries sprinkled on top to serve.
Soak the dates in the milk for 10 – 30 mins to soften.
In a blender, add the avocado flesh, dates and milk, vanilla, salt and cacao powder
Adjust to taste by adding more cacao powder if it needs it.
Serve and garnish with your choice of toppings.
