Alkalizing your body I believe is fundamental for weight loss, mental clarity, vitality, and healthy aging. When the body is acidic, your pH is too low. When the body become too acidic, we’re more likely to suffer from many health conditions including; acne and rosacea, anxiety weight gain or a weight loss plateau. Cucumbers and lemons promote alkalinity in the body. Ginger and turmeric help reduce inflammation in the gut. Greens will help to alkalize and detoxify the body even more, as well as provide quality vitamins and minerals.
Alkalizing Your Body
Juicing may have the ability to energize, alkalize, detox, and rejuvenate the body. Green vegetable juices fill you with beneficial nutrients and antioxidants. I love a green juice but I am more of a fan of a green smoothie. Simply because of the convenience and less mess. Relaxing and de-stressing is really helpful for alkalizing the body. Stress is acidic to the body. I love practicing yoga, swimming, and walking for balancing stress.
3 organic celery stalks
1 Lebanese cucumber (peeled if not organic)
2 stems of kale
1⁄4 fennel bulb
1 lemon, peeled
1 green apple
1⁄2 inch slice of ginger
1/2 inch slice of turmeric
Mint or Coriander
Put all ingredients through your juicer and enjoy!
